10th - 12th September 2008, 5th World Conference on the Promotion of Mental Health and the Prevention of Mental and Behavioral Disorders: From Margins to Mainstream.
In recognition of the growing burden of mental illnesses and the need to look for new ways of promoting mental health, the next World Conference on the Promotion of Mental Health and Prevention of Mental and Behavioral Disorders is being hosted by VicHealth at the Melbourne Convention Centre in Australia 2008. The conference is organised by the World Federation of Mental Health, The Clifford Beers Foundation, the Mental Health Program of the Carter Center, AUSEINET and VicHealth, and supported by the Global Consortium for Prevention and Promotion in Mental Health (GCAPP).
